Comp Problems

Sun Oct 25, 2009, 7:10 PM
So my computer decided to break this past week. I have been forced to use my laptop but the problem is that my tablet does not hook up to it. This means I will not be doing any drawing or anything until my crap comp is fixed. I have been busy with school and athletic things as well so there is no fun time anyway. It may be a long time, or a short time until that stupid thing is fixed, we will see. :/

---My incredible gallery [link] !!-- :XD:

I love this account name. Now, I haven't had the chance to look through the gallery, but I see the preview of Justinian I and it makes me very happy. Not only is it looking like a good drawing but I like art of historical figures.

Cryptids and fish from the deep abyss are really cool. There's one I just learned about--the Grinning Man. Sounds really creepy, and I want to try and draw that. And you can follow wikipedia links around, just to see all the different things. How many people do you talk to that can just derail a conversation into the realm of things so breathtakingly random and interesting they're funny? If you know of anyone like that, stick to them and sketch all the interesting scenes. If -you're- that type of person, then it still works, but you have the added bonus of people's repulsed expressions. =)

(Don't mind me. I've lived in rural New Hampshire for too long.)

Woah I'm sorry for the really long delay of a reply. D: These are extremely good ideas, especially the deep sea fish and the grinning man. Since I'm looked at some new styles I'm beginning to picture what kind of style I want. It's just getting it on paper is the tough part. Unfortunately there are not many interesting people in AK in my opinion. Someday I'm going to downtown New York to look at the street artwork and galleries. <3 I absolutely adore surrealism. It's probably the most creative artwork out there, and its the style I'm shooting for. Hopefully this summer I'll be able to make some progress and change entirely.
:iconawarth:
Oh, I love surrealism, especially the "impossible world" kind, like the house that's done with lighting suggesting it's night, but there's a gorgeous blue sky, and M.C. Escher's stuff. And then with some of the "shapes" ones, sometimes if you look hard there's a scene. It's awesome. I should try it sometime, haha. Good luck with your surrealism.
